Since Americans will not buy a small car (until the tipping point of $4 a gallon gas, anyway) they won’t fit with the Obama administration’s plan. Like me and my family of 4 fitting into a nice little Fiat 
And or If they fail further (regulations vs free market) it would give Government (like the good orwellian they are becoming) a louder voice to say hey see not enough government to “FIX” the problem?
Or is it more like
one way or another, you’ll be forced out of those trucks and into the hybrids or whatever, in order to further the desired results of a governmental administration verses the will of the people?
